Brittany is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, holistic care to adolescents and adults. Her journey in healthcare began in the Intensive Care Unit, where she developed a specialized focus in cardiac care, treating coronary artery disease, managing heart failure, and supporting patients through cardiac transplants. This experience helped shape Brittany’s understanding of the intricate connection between physical and emotional health.
As a travel nurse, Brittany had the privilege to care for those suffering from COVID-19, expanding her skills and knowledge in crisis care and the emotional challenges faced during critical illness. However, it was during her time working with transplant patients in the ICU that she found her true calling in mental health. She witnessed firsthand the profound emotional effects of transplants on individuals and their families, and it became clear to her that mental wellness is just as crucial as – and directly affects – physical healing.
Brittany transitioned to a focus on the mental health specialty, where she provides empathetic care that addresses her patients’ psychological and physical needs. She believes in meeting each patient where they are to improve their mental health and, as a result, their overall quality of life.
Outside of work, Brittany prioritizes staying active and maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle. She enjoys walking, attending Pilates classes, and taking golf lessons – activities that keep her grounded. Last year, she rescued a toy poodle named Teddy, who quickly became a beloved member of her family. His playful nature and unconditional love bring a lot of warmth and energy to her life!
Whether you are navigating mental health challenges or looking for support, she is here to provide personalized care focusing on empathy, expertise, and healing.
